Frank Franklin & Sons was founded in 1918 originally as a press tool manufacturing firm. As the
years past by, we started producing jigs and fixtures. |

In 1950 Frank Franklin retired, and left the firm to his four sons. After the death of one of his sons,
and two others leaving to take on other professions, George Franklin took over. |
|
In 1967 Ken Franklin was made a partner, and introduced mould making, which covered ceramic,
rubber, and plastic moulds. |
|
In 1984, the Ltd Company was formed, with Alan Driscoll appointed Works Manager. With his
expertise, this broadened the range of the companies manufacturing even more. |
